We visited Zaanse Schans, a open air collection of Windmills, cheese factory, glog factory and traditional antique Zaanse Groene Huisjes meaning Zaandam green wooden houses. Great views over the meadows and ‘t Zaan or Saen river. Ofcourse we bought Dutch wooden glogs.

Came across this shop while visiting the area for a 3rd time. Max was super helpful and friendly, even gave me a quick history/geography about the city of Delft and Delft pottery after buying this little souvenir from his shop🤩

It's a nice and cute shop, perfect for buying souvenirs, and the personel is very kind and helpful. We were provided with very useful information on how to rent a bike and on the train timetable. We had a problem in the afternoon as the train line to Amsterdam was interrupted and the owner provided us with the information on how to go back to Amsterdam by bus and on how to call a taxi. As foreigners, we would have been in trouble without their help!We made it in the end, thank you so much!!
