Really enjoyed our half-day private tour of Zaanse Schans with our tour guide Esther! Comfortable car and knowledgeable, friendly guide. Walked around the pretty village. Saw windmills, a clog-making demonstration, a cheese-making demonstration, and tasted many types of delicious Dutch cheeses in the cheese shop. The personal touch of having a private tour made this extra special. Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked a private tour with Esther and it was the best experience! Easy pick up in a luxury van, wonderful history and personal stories and delicious tastings of Holland in a gorgeous picturesque town. We travel often and this was one of the best tours - luxury vibes. I highly recommend and wish we booked the whole day tour!

A delightful and unexpected gem of a tour just outside of Amsterdam. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was a great plus. Highlights included watching clogs being made, touring a working windmill and experiencing a different lifestyle from yesteryear. Esther was quite knowledgeable and well connected at the various sites we visited. A can’t miss tour!

We had the most wonderful tour/time of our entire 20 day vacation today with our tour guide, Esther. She was on time, super prepared and knowledgeable about windmills as well as a host of other things pertaining to our tour. She is well-known to many of the people working there. Her personality and demeanor made the tour so much more than we expected. She took special care of my husband who has a mobility disability. Thank you Esther for making our tour today so memorable.

Wonderful tour! Esther was great at communicating beforehand, punctual, and picked us up right at our cruise boat location, and was able to take us to “off the beaten path“ locations with fewer tourists. She had great tips about where to buy less expensive souvenirs, and take better photos. She took a ton of photos during the tour, and then airdropped them to me at the end of the tour. Esther was able to customize our tour, so that we were picked up at our cruise boat, and dropped off at the Anne Frank Museum, where we had tickets at a particular time. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! This was truly the highlight of my trip to the Netherlands. Esther is an incredible guide with personal experience living in a windmill. Hard to get much more knowledgeable than that! If you are thinking of visiting the Windmills , or any of the local areas please do yourself a favor and book this one!!

This tour is a cannot miss! Esther, our guide, took us to so many wonderful hidden treasures. We loved our time with her and adored what we saw. Windmills, quaint villages, cheese farms, delicious lunch….this tour has it all. Highly recommend and we will be back!
