Prachtig natuurgebied en heerlijk wandelen of fietsen voor jong en ouder....een aanrader ook met mist en motregen💦 of de eerste zonnestralen na de sneeuw. De kinderen hebben een heerlijke speelplaats en is er verkoop van friet en andere versnaperingen. Parkeren is 3.50 voor drie uur...al ben je er 1 uur de prijs blijft hetzelfde 🦬

Als je hard hebt gewerkt en je wilt wat rust is dit de place to be. Je kan door de natuur lopen en dan uitkijken en spotten naar andere vogels je loopt er dwars doorheen. Als je moe bent kom je hier echt tot rust en laat jeje hoofd leeg lopen om weer met frisse moet door te gaan.

A fine recreational spot for walking, biking and swimming. Pretty quiet outside of the summer season, relatively busy on the little beaches in the area on warm summer days. It's a typically Dutch mix of cultivated nature, with lots of birds and some Scottish Highland Cattle roaming around semi-freely around some of the footpaths. It also has a water-focused playground for kids.

On a sunny day and only 15min from Amsterdam Centraal (after taking the ferry crossing), Het Twiske is a culmination of everything family- and eco-friendly. Explore the many walking and bike paths that criss-cross the land, see very little car activity and enjoy the cool waters by the man-made beach. There's no end to the activities that are available here!
