We stayed in Weesp, a small town 20 minutes away from Amsterdam. It’s a lovely, quiet town but had several bakeries, bars and restaurants. The offerings from this bakery were fabulous!We bought bread, chocolate muffins, croissants and the best was the chocolate cream puff! It’s hard to choose which one to try because they were all beautifully presented. Friendly staff as well. Well wor5 the calories!

Het brood is lekker en vers. Maar de klantvriendelijkheid krijgt een 0. Ik kom altijd vriendelijk, geduldig en vrolijk binnen maar de dames die er werken lijken altijd geïrriteerd en boos. Er komt geen glimlachje vanaf. Helaas.

Unfortunately the quality of this bakery is deteriorating and the prices are going up.
The cakes are becoming smaller and smaller, and the "Sacher like" cake I bought today was not even fresh.
Moreover often there is a bad smell inside the bakery.

I hope to see soon some improvements and become again a great bakery like it was a few years ago!

Heel vriendelijk en de gebak, taarten, brood, koek en muffins zien er verukkelijk uit. Winkel zelf ruikt heerlijk. Ik had een framboos gebakje gekozen. Erg lekker.

We gingen naar het Muiderslot, we werden gelokt door de heerlijke geuren. Dat kaas uienbrood je zalig.

Sinds 2025 kennelijk bezuinigingen. Het gebak is stukken kleiner en de vulling is karig geworden. Slagroompunt met dun laagje slagroom, veel goedkoop geel spul dat iets wegheeft van banketbakkersroom, verder een piepklein stukje mandarijn te ontdekken. De red velvet is al net zo belabberd. De prijzen zijn hetzelfde, maar ik ga liever volgende keer naar de HEMA of Wesselman, de echte banketbakker
