Wir haben eine 3-Stündige geführte Tour gemacht und es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Unser Guide war super sympathisch und nett. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Zuerst wurde alles auf Englisch erklärt und wenn wir einiges nicht verstanden haben, haben wir es auf deutsch nochmal wiederholt bekommen. Zwischendurch gibt es immer kleine Pausen und die Strecke ist wirklich gut zu bewältigen. Das Tempo ist angenehm und es wurde auch immer darauf geachtet, dass noch alle da sind 👍 vielen Dank für diese tolle Erinnerung an Amsterdam

Great place to rent a bike or book a biketour through Amsterdam.
We did a 3 hour tour and it was amazing. Great guide, good facts, not boring, good sightseeing.
And cycling in Amsterdam is always an adventure 😉

We did the morning e bike tour to the country and cheese farm. Oleg our guide was fantastic!! The stops were excellent with coffee in a church, beautiful country side and the best cheese I think I've ever tasted! E bikes were super easy to ride. Great adventure!

We had an incredible time on the Countryside E-bike Tour! This was probably the best activity of our entire Europe trip. It was such a memorable experience, as it was just my wife and me exploring the beautiful Dutch countryside at our own pace. The self-guided tour, with the help of an app, made navigation super easy and stress-free.

Riding along the picturesque canals, lush green landscapes, and narrow dikes was truly magical. We also discovered a charming windmill, an authentic cheese farm which added a unique touch to the adventure. The combination of Amsterdam city views and the serene countryside was breathtaking.

A few tips for future travellers:

Be prepared for a lot of biking; while the e-bikes make it easier, you might still feel some strain on your legs.

Carry plenty of water! We couldn't find a single grocery store along the route and got very thirsty.

Overall, it was a fantastic, intimate experience, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an active and scenic way to explore the Netherlands!

I was part of a group of 9 (5 of whom were in my travel party)that had a wonderful time with our guide, Rad, on the 3 hour Amsterdam City Tour by Bike [we booked it via Get Your Guide].

Rad set up each person's 3 speed bike and then explained how to use the bike and lock it using the keyed lock on the back wheel. The bikes are basic upright bikes in bright yellow and red, so they clearly stand out amongst the black bikes that most riders in Amsterdam use. He also made sure we understood the rules of the road for biking in the city. With thousands of bikes going all over the city, it is critical to understand what you are doing to ensure you are riding safely for yourself and the others around you.

The ride is roughly 15km (9-10 miles) around the city. You make multiple stops and have about a 15-20 minute break about 2 hours into the journey. For our group, Rad made sure to keep us on a route that was not like the interstate or autobahn - we found ourselves on many back streets that were picturesque and not heavily congested with cars or bikes. At each stop, he made sure to share with us the history of the area, what was going on now, and some cultural discussion. Rad was very open to questions and providing answers - it did not come across as a bothersome task, but a great opportunity to interact with his guests. As it is a bike riding experience, there was not a lot of dialogue taking place as you rode - there was no "audio tour" aspect.

Your journey takes you from the bikeshop at the main harbor/cruise ship terminal to the then along streets and canals to just south of the Rijks Museum. Enroute, Rad took us into the Vondelpark where we could use the water closets and have a snack and drink purchased at a food service establishment (we had snacks - should you want an awesome salad or burger, they had them but you would not have time to consume it on this journey). Your return to the bike shop has you traversing the east side of the city by the NEMO museum.

Our group had a great time. The weather was blustery (by Californian standards) with a bit of rain showers thrown in - so dress or pack accordingly. We were layered up while another rider was in a skirt - everyone was dressed for the climate they were used to. At minimum, bring a windbreaker.

The value for the dollar (or Euro) spent was very good - 3 hours of riding a bike, a great tour of parts of Amsterdam one might not see or know was there, insights from a local resident, and a safe ride around a city where trying to ride on your own would be likely a stressful experience if you had never been riding here before.

If you are capable of riding a bike, consider this tour. It is both well worth your time and money.

Ho partecipato a un tour in bici di circa 3 ore ad Amsterdam ed è stata un’esperienza splendida. Il vero punto di forza è senza dubbio la guida: preparata, cortese e sempre pronta a rispondere a ogni domanda con competenza e simpatia. Le biciclette erano nuove e molto comode da guidare, cosa che ha reso il giro ancora più piacevole.
Il percorso (circa 15/16 km) è stato ben organizzato e permette di scoprire moltissimi punti salienti della città, rendendo il tour un modo ideale per conoscere Amsterdam in maniera attiva e divertente.
Assolutamente consigliato!

Wonderful experience, would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Amsterdam. Really warm and friendly staff/guide, lots of knowledge on the city and great fun. We did at the start of our trip and found it a lovely way to see lots of the city and get your bearings within a few hours.
