Extremely disappointing experience with LIMES International. The process for the tax ruling was painfully slow, and despite spending months gathering documents as requested, it turned out that LIMES guidance was not even aligned with the tax authorities' requirements. This raises serious concerns about their competence and expertise.

Their customer service is equally frustrating—no callbacks, no acknowledgment emails, and no follow-ups unless I chased them repeatedly. They have an astonishing habit of “receiving your feedback” only after you follow up with them two months later, after being completely left in the dark.

On top of that, they continuously try to make you pay additional fees at every stage of the process, regardless of whether the delays were their fault. It was only after I escalated the case to a manager that the matter was finally resolved, nearly a year later.

I wasted nearly ten months navigating this chaotic process, only to realize that the requested documents were ultimately irrelevant and that LIMES had no proper alignment with the tax authorities. They claim to offer expert services, but in reality, they seem disorganized, unresponsive, and incapable of managing a structured and efficient process.

Save yourself the headache—avoid LIMES International unless you want to lose both time and money.

Awful experience. After 2 engagements I will not be using this firm again.
On both occasions agreed with them via email on a not to exceed amount. If they were to exceed, they should contact me and we could agree to an amount. On both occasions they blew through this amount sending an invoice over and above.
They charge hundreds for emails that take a few minutes to send and additionally they charge when they themselves make mistakes… likely due to their collection approach of data.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service. They have been completely unresponsive, leaving me in the dark for months. Despite my repeated attempts to get in touch, I've been ghosted without any updates or progress on my tax application. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially when dealing with such important matters. I would not recommend Limes to anyone looking for reliable and professional tax advice. Save yourself the frustration and find a company that values its clients.

Unsure what others had issues with, as their staff were quickly responsive to over a dozen of my inquiries. Marijke from LIMES INTL handled my relocation process from the UK to Amsterdam on behalf of my employer. I am truly amazed by the level of professionalism offered by LIMES and the level of detail Marijke has provided me at each stage. I recently arrived at Amsterdam and got all of my documentation & paperwork in place. For some of the document requirements, I wasan't sure how to get those retrieved from my home country. However, she guided me through each stage very clearly and precisely and with her guidance and document review checks, I was able to sort the missing documents within the time frames. My appointments for IND and bank account opening were pre-booked even before my arrival and attending those appointments went very well.

I hope that LIMES INTL continues to provide such an exceptional service to all expacts like me in the future which definately helps a lot in keeping your anxiety levelled and optimising your time in the new country.

Limes International was by far the least professional agencies I have ever worked with. First was the tax return process, it took them months to respond when I wrote an email asking whether the tax return was filed. After they claimed that they have filed the tax return for me for 2018, I still received an mail from the Dutch tax authority asking for the documents for tax return.

Second experience was that I had them helping me with applying for a specific application that themselves imposed a deadline for, after a few emails back and forth, they stopped responding to my email and also no call backs after I attempted to reach the person in charge via phone. The person who was handling he application went on holiday, in the middle of an application process without handing over to another colleague. Only after 6 months, they replied when I raised the question about the invoice that was sent out by the finance department for the hours spent on the application that they never completed. Until today I have not received an explanation nor apology.
