Mooie kerk en met monumentendag kon je de toren beklimmen met een mooi uitzicht over Beverwijk.

Een markant gezichtspunt van Beverwijk, is al van verre te zien. Het betreft een zogenaamde hallenkerk naverwoesting door de spanjaarden werd de kerk opnieuw verbouwt in 1592. De toren echter dateerd uit 1475.
Het plein eromheen heeft veel nieuwbouw.
