Absoluut een pareltje in het buitengebied van Oudewater! Rijdend over smalle slingerende wegen en verstopt in het prachtige Hollandse landschap ligt deze heerlijke plek B&B Ruige Weide. De afwezigheid van drukte van de wereld in combinatie met de geluiden van de natuur maken het een plek om graag te zijn. Om te genieten van de vele zitjes die over het terrein zijn verspreid zodat je op ieder moment van de dag wat zonnestralen kunt meepakken. De gastvrijheid van Nicole die een sfeer gecreëerd heeft waar je je in thuisvoelt en die in de ochtend een fantastisch ontbijt klaar heeft staan, maken het een dikke 10 waard. What a delight! The bed was very cozy, and we loved the ambiance. The property is out in the country, but close to several towns (right there in Oudewater was a delightful restaurant called Lumiere, get their best-seller, an Indonesian dish... my foodie husband rated it in his top 5 meals ever!). Nicole was warm and welcoming, there was coffee and tea available 24/7 with a machine, and breakfast was UNREAL! She made it somewhat to order, updating/altering as days progressed to what she saw we were eating and not. ALL foods were locally produced, from the cheese to the bread to the butter to the yogurt and eggs. Not recommended for people with mobility issues, as the very narrow curved staircase is more of a ladder... not unusual in Europe, of course, but you need to be steady on your feet to use it.

Hebben hier onze bruiloft gehad. Fantastisch mooie locatie met veel mogelijkheden.
Ongedwongen sfeer en veel is bespreekbaar.
Kamers + appartement voor overnachtingen zijn top, als ook het uitgebreide een heerlijke ontbijt.
Absoluut een aanrader!

Wij sliepen in het nieuwe appartement en dat is prachtig; mooie inrichting en van alle gemakken voorzien met een uitgebreide keuken, heerlijk groot bed, eigen patio, zalige douche. En de gastvrouw Nicole is ontzettend vriendelijk en verzorgt een uitgebreid vers ontbijt. We hebben er van genoten!

If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay this is the one for you. Set in the countryside about 20 minutes from the cheese town of Gouda. Nicole the host is very welcoming and provided coffee and cake on our arrival. House is very stylish and the rooms was spotless. En suite bathroom. TV with satellite channels including BBC 1 & 2. Breakfast was lovely. Fresh hot bread and croissants, home made jam and fruit etc. fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh coffee. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Local town of Oudewater approximately 5 minutes away by car worth a visit. Pretty with choice of restaurants and shops. We now wish we had stayed longer.

Location immersa nel verde della campagna che circonda Oudewater e Gouda, in perfetto stile "polder" olandese, camera pulitissima e accogliente con letto matrimoniale e soppalco sottotetto con altri 2 letti (il bambino si è trovato benissimo), bagno privato praticamente attiguo alla stanza. Colazione abbondante con varietà dal dolce al salato, eppoi l'accoglienza di Nicole e la sua famiglia semplicemente meravigliosi. Che dire? Peccato esser rimasti solo 5 giorni...Lo consiglieremo sicuramente anche ai nostri amici.
