Onlangs onze eerste mudwalk ervaring beleefd danzij Toms travel tours!
Een heerlijk avontuurlijk weekendje weg naar Unesco erfgoed waddeneiland Schiermonnikoog.
Het was een fantastische ervaring en je wordt letterlijk 1 met de elementen van de natuur!
Tom is een geweldige gids die alles tot in de puntjes regelt en ondertussen nog als professionele fotograaf alles vast legt.
Zeker een aanrader!

Wat een professional is deze man! Eerst een onvergetelijk foto sessie van mijn kinderen/gezin in de mooie bollenstreek (tulpen) om vervolgens nog naar wat bijzondere hotspots te gaan. Onbetaalbare plaatjes vastgelegd op foto. Wij gaan hier zeker nog een vervolg aan geven!

We and another couple scheduled a full day of countryside touring with Joyce. She was a great travel guide: answering questions, responding to our requests, and generally providing excellent company throughout the day.

We toured in the first half of April, so we knew we were on the leading edge of tulip season and weren't sure how colorful the fields and gardens might be. Our trip was the first time this year Joyce had traveled north to this tulip garden, and was careful to temper our hopes. Luckily, most of the tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths were in full bloom and absolutely beautiful. The garden she had chosen outside of Amsterdam was compact and uncrowded and exceeded our expectations.

Later she took us to huge fields painted with vibrant tulip color, where we stopped for pictures, careful not to encroach into the fields themselves.

After once again clarifying what we preferred to experience, she took us to a family-owned shop making both Gouda cheese and wooden shoes ("Irene Hoeve Cheese and Clogs"). We were shown around by one of the brothers who owned the place (and makes the wooden shoes), who was very, very funny.

Along the way we stopped in a couple of charming villages, once for lunch and otherwise to stretch our legs and wander around. Just lovely.

All in all, an amazing day with Joyce -- she did well by us, and we highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable day visiting places outside of Amsterdam with Joyce. Visiting small villages, talking about daily life for Dutch people, learning a bit about history and culture, and seeing a beautiful windmill made the tour great. But Joyce’s personality, recommendations, and conversation made the tour exceptional. Highly recommend Tom’s Travel Tours, and you would be lucky to have Joyce spend the day with you.

Tom's Travel Tours was fabulous to work with! Tom helped to plan the perfect itinerary for our trip to Amsterdam. It was a fabulous mix of tours - all the perfect information, length, and location. All of the guides were fabulous and informative - and on top of it fun! I have known Tom for about 15 years from a previous job. Recently my girlfriend and I joined him for a private bike tour of Amsterdam. We spent an enjoyable and educational two weeks with the guides at Tom's Travel Tours. I have wanted to see the tulips in The Netherlands for many years, and finally decided to go. We saw much more than tulips. Our guides over the 2 weeks were Ingrid, Fred, and Joyce. All were delightful and went out of their way to make the trip terrific.
Importantly--logistics were extremely smooth. All transfers were efficient and drivers were always punctual and communicative. All emails were promptly answered and we were given the phone number (WhatsApp) for each guide/driver. This really made me feel comfortable. Tom, himself, came by our hotel one evening just to meet us.
I thoroughly recommend Tom's Travel Tours to anyone contemplating a visit to this interesting and friendly country.
